Obviously depends on the components you choose but this build was circa ÂŁ1500 including labour. No scratches/marks whatsoever, all looks OEM but I did my homework before choosing the company doing the work ??@SayonaraLicence how much was this installation roughly and did they scratch or damage any of the plastics while taking things apart?
Huets in Shoreham - ask for ChrisWhere are you getting all this done?
I notice you are in West Sussex, I'm in Brighton and looking for a good installer fairly local for when my car arrives in August.
Booked in next Tuesday pal ???any update?
we are anxious to know and learn......
pleaseeeeeee and thx
46+ but i'm running through aftermarket amps. What volume level are you finding the system starts to introduce distortion? Having a bit of issues with an audio system that was installed into mine and the audio engineer I've taken it into is suggesting that clipping is being introduced into the system too early. The max volume on my setup is 38 before distortion is introduced, and it does sound quiet at that level.
This is above my paygrade, you'd need to ask the installer pal?I'm very interested in how they connected the audio control unit.
Mainly because there are no line level signals anywhere. Out from the head unit and into the power amp/ESE/ANC unit it is balanced high level and then the output from that one drives the speakers. I would like to add a dsp or at least an EQ but it would need balanced high level output (not neccesarily high power output)
Yeah they didn't remove anything just switched out the front speakers. Will either have been coded out or something to do with the added audio control unit. I'll have to check this thoughYes, it's a combined power amp and add-ESE/ANC unit under the right seat. On Circuit packs. I think its there on Convenience Packs too, not 100% sure though.
I assumed they'd coded it out. Is it a unit? Good job my exhaust is going on tomorrow because it removes any drama with ESE turned off.So the ESE/ANC unit is removed?
It's currently in an enclosure attached via QR to the back seat. Have upgraded to JL Audio coax's in the front doors, faded out the rears (like the the standard fronts they're shite, binned them) a signal processor with adjustable master gain for the sub mounted OEM into the switch gear in the dash all powered by a JL Audio RD series 4 channel amp. Probably should have gone with 2 way components but for the cost/weight this install punches well above its numbers and wanted to keep it light??That's great, I will check them out. Where have you put the micro sub? Other than the 10" and dynamat in doors, have you upgraded anything else?
Will update later in the week once I decided on the build pal ??Really interested to hear about your build. Am still thinking as per OP video- upgraded front Mille legends components, unpluggable slimline JL audio sub, with all in one DSP/amp and full EQ/TA etc, plus full front door sound deadening.
I am looking at something where OEM can easily be reinstated.
