Got to love the little stickers on the drive mode switch, too! While I won't be putting stickers on mine, I must admit I prefer the clarity of numbers instead of the vagueness of generic (marketing) terms like Sport, Track, etc.

@StarletRick would you have concerns about any long term implications of the CAE shifter, just like the ones you mentioned about the Foresight short shifter on here?

Since I've moved my steering wheel further back with a spacer I'm wondering if a CAE can be mounted slightly tilted towards the rear to get the shifter knob a bit further back, matching the wheel. I'm thinking making some spacers for the two front mounts. Will the linkage be okay if the front of the base is elevated slightly and at a small angle?

Either your DIY spacers for the two front mounts or any kind of riser pucks, as you mentioned on here?

There is a product by Cusco that makes me feel hopeful. Shifter Offset Collar Kit or shift lever movement kit (Product code 1C7-936-A) is supposed to tilt the shifter towards the steering wheel. I trust this doesn't affect the functionality of the linkage and whole system.

Of course, they offer a tilt towards the steering wheel, while you (and me) are probably looking for a tilt towards the rear, which perhaps could be achieved simply by installing the longer Cusco parts at the front instead of the side.

Or there could be a combination of three of the longer Cusco parts and one shorter, to tilt the shifter diagonally, ie towards the driver. This would require the purchase of two Cusco kits, while even one is ridiculously expensive, I think.
