Do we really think the GRY's gearshift is that bad to change it (already) or is it the 'coolness' factor that seems to entice people?

I mean I am looking to 'fix' the gearshift in my Exige S RGB, but that is out of necessity, since it does need fixing, and changing the shift mechanism and/or have motorsport cables installed are options.

there's a short shift attachment that fits on gearbox arm that does shorten the shift length but not same as fitting full on gear lever in cabin. The height of the lever combined with its short throw is what makes for smooth and much quicker gear change, the little mod on gearbox if effectively a stop-gap to fitting gear lever, shortens the throw but won't speed up the change time

you could also combine that with the TGR risers. not the same as a CAE of course, but it should bring some improvements
