I've finally managed to get these PPF kits sorted, starting with the rear arches, and coming in two sizes
Full length, or impact area only. The full length option may be of interest to those who want to minimise the visible outline, though if the car is kept clean this should never be an issue.
I've installed the smaller option on my car, as it will be covered by the wrap anyway.
All footage for the install video has been recorded, and will be edited into a short YouTube video in the next day or two
As for pricing, the full length one is ÂŁ65+VAT, and the shorter one is ÂŁ55+VAT, both include shipping to UK mainland and a felt edged squeegee to help with the install. (And before anyone asks, yes, that is for both sides... Also, it's a clear film, not blue
)
They really are a doddle to fit, especially the smaller option, and shouldn't require anything other than some cleaning equipment, a spray bottle and possibly a hair dryer / heat gun for the full length version, although we've managed sevaral test fittings without any heat.
The vinyl used will be Hexis Bodyfence, which whilst it may not have the publicity associated with some brands, is well renowned within the industry, and is our PPF of choice.
It's a 150micron film with self healing properties and a life of up to 7 years
I'll update with purchasing options as soon as I've heard back from forum mods as to how it can be done (If at all possible)
Hopefully options for the sills and doors coming soon!
