Not sure if you feel the same pain. GRY has no lighting at all in the trunk. Every night grabbing stuff in the dark trunk is a challenge for me.
So, I decided to DIY some lighting. My first attempt was adding small size chargeable motion sensor light. It was.....good enough, did the job adding some lighting, but the angle of the light is not perfect since I can only stick it on the side of the trunk.
Did some research on the internet marketplace, found something really cool, calls "Trunk LED Light Strip". Reasonable price and seems not to difficult to install, so I gave a shoot, result is satisfying.
I did full cycle, but the top half is partially covered by the rubber (it still illuminate the trunk, just not shooting straightly to my eyes). The bottom half is showing completely to add fancy look
