FYI: HKS Intake & Hel Oil Cooler (9 row) modification

I've installed both the Hel oil cooler and the full HKS intake.

Obviously these parts were not designed to work together , why should they have been. But they are independent great parts.

The issue is that the hel oil cooler connection, the one one that will be 120 degrees on track, sits right in the line of the 'cold air' intake for the HKS kit.

So I made a fix.

Live Update!!

The front bumper wont go back on, there is a clash between my creation and part of the upper bumper intake surround!

So I've trimmed it back a little from the front right corner as you look at the plate.

Live Update 2!

I can now almost get the bumper on, but now there is a clash between the bumper intake surround and the bracket!!

Im going to avoid the easy out, cutting the bumper, and will redesign the bracket.

So, for the moment, dont copy this idea, its not going to plan.

Okay so the internal side of the front bumper actually goes further in than I thought, so I needed to cut the plate further back than expected . Have matched it up with some high temp rubber.
