Anyone got any Ideas why I cannot get google maps voice to work in my GR. It works fine in my Abarth but in the GR it does not it just shows the route . Ive tried all the usual like moblie data on etc , The phone is paired to the car it just wont speak. Any advise would be appreciated as its a pain in the ass. I kerbed my wheel today looking down at it and they were mint . GUTTED .

Try a wired connection to see if you get audio that way, no idea if you're on an android or iphone but mine works with carplay running. Not tried running it off of bluetooth but mostly sounds like a audio setting issue.
if it's bluetooth: your car is merely a speaker to the phone, ergo; any issues are located in the phone settings/options.
If it's android auto/carplay: only thing is car's volume/mute, otherwise still check the phone. (Silent mode and whatnot that could be an issue in vurrent version etc)

This car only runs Carplay/Android Auto via USB wire, not wireless.
Technically you should get vocal directions from the phone's Google Map via bluetooth but no map on the dash monitor etc.
But hey, wired is the reliable way to go either way 🫡 Glad you had some positive outcome!
