Bottom line is the person driving is responsible for the vehicle and if they want to improve their view of the road ahead that's their choice. Personally I’ll be spending money on improving the mirror position before throwing money at a “shouty” exhaust or a remap to see if I can test out the Toyota Warranty ?

Yes it's a Dash cam recording everything from both cameras, both front and rear. It records onto a memory card. So not having to have an extra unit in the windshield for a dashcam was a big reason, having the rear view recorded too is a big bonus too.
That sounds like a good way to go if you're wanting front and rear dash cams , solves rear view mirror problem (if you have one) too?

I’m liking this idea a lot which gives front and rear cameras and better mirror location all in one go ? As I was already committed to cleaning the rear window each time I stop, unless someone comes up with an integrated roof antenna/camera fin I will have the rear camera mounted inside ?

They all get dirty at the back, my Focus and Mini both suffer this rapid dirt attraction issue.
Latest Mercs are good as camera is behind the badge on boot lid which pops out when reversing, think some other manufacturers do same. ? I'm already committed to cleaning rear window every time I stop anywhere so camera will get a quick clean too.
