Underbody treatment

Just used salt-away on the underside of the Yaris to get get rid of and neutralise any salt, it took 15 mins from start to finish including setting everything up and jacking car up. Gonna do this once a month maybe see how it goes over winter. Car currently has exactly 1500 miles

I dunno what's up with my phone uploading pics the wrong way round..

Was out today around Hexham, blanchland and Weardale and the fritters have been out but not too bad

I just used auto finesse degreaser and Tfr and citrus pre wash and neither 3 would touch it

mom using that atomac in my chassis cleaner every other wash anyway so that should keep the worst of the salt at bay

2 litres of sheep juice arrived today. Purchased from an eBay seller, but left my order in the lanoguard webpage and got a 10% off code which would have made them cheaper by a few pounds.

I got 2l of lanoguard too. I'm using a pressure sprayer to apply it. See how it goes but it gets good reviews and seems easily to apply

That was my original plan with the atom Mac but using it in jetwash over dilutes it, I spoke to bilt hamber they recommended using it in a pump sprayer to ensure sufficient concentration. I'm gonna use atom mac for my brakes and when leaving car parked up Aberdeen for 3 weeks il give it a spray and leave.
The video I saw on YouTube he reckons the dilution ratio in the chassis cleaner dispenser was right but who knows

could always just blast the car off with it then apply the atom mac with the garden sprayer

I'm back to flying up or hire cars now - no way am I leaving it in the hallmark car park for 3 weeks!

Ive got 2 litres of lanoguard which I’m going to apply with a garden pressure sprayer

plan is as soon as I get the car home get the car up, wheels off for ceramic coating and do the underide of the car and behind arch liners while fitting the mudflaps

I’ve got side ppf to go on once I decontaminate the paint. I’m not going to drove it till I’ve prepped it then I’m just going to use it and enjoy it

as maintenance I’ll atom Mac the underside with the chassis cleaner once a month or so or more regularly when winter comes

The atom Mac does work I think - I sprayed it in the brakes to try it after I washed the car and they didn’t ginger up

putting 5ml to a litre just seems weak though but time will tell

Loads and loads of videos on YouTube fill your boots ?
Ive been using one of them for years and it's really handy. just done the wife's GTI and my Yeti the other night to get the salt off.

you can't get the karcher chassis wax anymore so I'm just using a rinse aid in it to try and keep much from sticking to the car

I've bought some atom Mac to try it sounds ideal for what I want

I’ll probably acf50 the suspension arms when I take the wheels off to cenramic coat them when I get my car home but I’m not going over the top with under chassis treatment. I use acf50 on my bikes but don’t think it will last long under the car

I doubt I will use the car much in the winter anyway and I’ve got a karcher chassis pressure washer, which is pretty good at blasting salt and dirt off from under the car

Karcher stopped selling the protection wax for this though and I don’t think applying acf50 in the chassis sprayer would end well
