Hey,
I have a weird ticking noise coming from what sounds like rear left wheel well area. I've taken the interior panel out and taped down anything that seems loose but hasn't helped.
It a kinda high pitched clicking, bit like sparking/when you hold the spark ignition on a hob, but quiet.
Only seems to happen around motorway speeds but is pretty constant when at those speeds.
I've put padding under the number plate but that didn't help either.

you sure its not a stone in the tyre tread or screw etc?

 

I haven't checked tbh, I'm gonna be doing a wheel rotation sometime soon so I'll take a look then 👍

 

There's soooo many raw mechanical noises with this car it is hard to tell if anything is a problem. I sometimes get a click noise when I reverse but some say it's normal, some say it's pads moving etc meh. All fine and mint underneath on every service... good luck!

 

probably your left patella as you let the clutch up? both mine click and pop a lot nowadays

stone or screw stuck in the tyre?

 

I think someone had a similar issue and that was the fuel cap cable tapping.

 

I have the same, does it when stationary as well when the car resonates.

How do you access the cable?

 

It might be the rear upper shock mount? Check out this Utube video Harrys Garage where Harry and his son review their 3 years ownership.
