Are there any O2-sensors at the lunpy bit of the exhaust under the car...? If so it's a secondary cat which Jap cars have. The OPF filter has no sensors (EU spec) however. If yours has no senaors it's irrelevant weather it's a secondary cat or OPF, still equally fine to remove in terms of car function.

It is possible to remove the insides of the gpf with a metal rod and a hammer. The result is a slight increase in noise, a freer flowing exhaust and an oem look.

 

I was thinking about would it be same gains as the whifbitz gpf delete pipe?

I’ve got Whifbitz GPF delete to HKS Legamax system…slightly louder and better performance for sure...Should bolt straight on to your HKS Super Turbo.

 

Did this require a remap or throw any cels?

Is your's resonated or non resonated?

 

My GPF is OEM with i side gutted btw, why bother with new pipes when the stock one is perfectly fine, light and keeps the OEM look but with the added benefit of tiny performance? Just whack it with any long metal tool until it's free of all material (so that nothing comes off later and rattles inside)

I’ve kept my original GPF….if my car fails its MOT i can revert back to standard.

 

Car passed its first MOT today (Toyota main dealer) with GPF delete pipe….Happy days!! 😁
