No no, middle one fit perfect - but had to lob a Mini 7.5a fuse in the 2nd slot. Job jobbed.

Annoyingly, the bolt in the middle below the glove-box, wasn't actually an earth connection - so had to go down the M4 bolt route. All good though.

That one worked fine for me as an earth, strange. I tapped USB for power and OBD for parking mode

I have used this as my earth, is there any reason I shouldnt? Looks to me its being used an earth for other things?

My dash cam has stopped working half way through installing, can't think of any reason why apart from maybe that the battery saving function has kicked in and voltage dropped below 11.6V maybe? I have putting ignition on and off but haven't been out in the car as I have covid. I've started the car up for a while to see if this helps but nothing. Although I don't know how long i'd need to run the car for to charge it back to full?
Is this a possibility or am I looking in the wrong place? I've checked fuses and de-routed all cables to check for damage.

With GR Fours help I managed to hard wire the Garmin Mini 2 dashcam myself.

I used the bolt / washer which attaches the black car dash to the bodywork to earth it (in same location as JB CTR video - just above the empty threaded hole).

Additionally used a long nosed plier to pull the fuse out (the ones I bought from Amazon didn't work). Was blind to the one supplied by factory.

I also used the dome light for the battery connection and the power socket (along side dome light) for the switched connection. So far so good ! Been watching footage of my garage wall hoping for something interesting to happen :ROFLMAO:
When you say you used the power socket for the switched connection,do you mean the red cable was attached to the USB fuse and the yellow parking cable attached to the dome light fuse as per the fuse box diagram highlighted by GR.four.Uk??

Red (ACC) to USB1 and Yellow (CONSTANT) to HAZ for me but heard DOME works too for yellow.

Guys, I am totally done. Have lefthanded version for continental Europe, and guess what, JBCTR's instructions are only half way helping. Fuse box in my case is on same side as righthanded version, but instead of glovebox I have there steering wheel. Fuse box is just below (on side) the steering wheel and grounding point is :)unsure::unsure::unsure::unsure:) have no idea. Even Original Toyota manual is not helping at all. Do you have any idea how to get wire to the fuse box or how to connect it according to Toyota manual provided here by MagnusT?

The Rhotteli (however you spell them) YouTube channel installed a CanCheck, watch how they did the Earthing etc?

Ok guys, first, thx Sly, although vid was without grounding, helped. I decided to use one of screws originally for different function, as grounding. Dashcam works very well. I used both fuses in hardwire adapter, one (2A) that came with adapter and one (7,5A) that was originally there. See pictures and please, let me know if I messed up something or you think it is OK. Thanks a lot!

DR900X-2CH Plus 4K UHD DASHCAM front and rear installed, ~2 hours (longest time was rearcam cabling through roof lining and pillars (thanks to @JBCTR for video on pulling out front pillars)
@MagnusT - followed the same Toyota documentation using the grounding bolt as indicated

Then USB port and Dome light ports for installing the Low Profile Mini fuse taps / adapters. ADD A CIRCUIT' TWIN MICRO BLADE FUSE HOLDER (Blister pack of 1)
