Just looking at a few plates and notice one I gave some serious thought to last week has gone - MY21 WRC @ £399, anyone buy it on here? If so I think it's a good plate? No regrets by the way, and I don't want to start buying number plates that I don't need. ?

Nice, I have to admit I nicked the 57 thing from you, didn't know it was the year Toyota started rallying until you mentioned it.

 

I was sat Googling important dates for the company and furiously looking though the plate website haha!

What's the deal with private plates? GR**PPY is the first one I've bought.

So I was naughty and used a show plates website (no V5 needed) and I just chose 'legal style'.

Then you'll get a retention certificate sent in the post, take that and your plates to the dealer before hand over and they'll assign it to the car.

 

I got mine made up by the plate sales site, and it's on retention. I'll swap it onto the car once I've picked it up using the online process.

 

Funny enough I did look at that too, great choice

just an FYI as I see some of you have bought your own plates. If you send your certificate to your dealer, they will register and make up the plates for you, will save you the cost of the plates (included with delivery) and you get to pick up the car on your private plate ??

I just went for the show plates because I wanted that little red border, just to continue the theme.

Sad I know, but it's the little things.
