probably everyone has already noticed this but in case not, I only noticed it today:
when you press the trac. off. button the outcome depends on the drive mode you are in.
in normal mode:
one press = limited trac. control (no idea what this does)
long press = 'expert mode'
however....
in sport mode, one press takes you straight into expert mode.
i apparently have never pressed this BEFORE selecting sport mode until today when i set off, hand braked, and found the trac control cut the power and prevented me completing my neat 180. only a little later i figured out i was in this middle mode which i never knew existed before.
TL;DR - make sure you really are in 'expert mode' before touching the steering lock adjustment lever otherwise the car just bogs down.
