Nice
Yes. Can't remember where just now.Is there not an alternative shift arm that fits to the linkage under the bonnet that gives a shorter shift
you could also combine that with the TGR risers. not the same as a CAE of course, but it should bring some improvementsthere's a short shift attachment that fits on gearbox arm that does shorten the shift length but not same as fitting full on gear lever in cabin. The height of the lever combined with its short throw is what makes for smooth and much quicker gear change, the little mod on gearbox if effectively a stop-gap to fitting gear lever, shortens the throw but won't speed up the change time

I ordered the TGR shift rizer, the Foresight short shifter and an height adjustable gear shift knob from Greedy. I think, this result in a cheep CAE similar shift experience.you could also combine that with the TGR risers. not the same as a CAE of course, but it should bring some improvements
yep, works surprisingly well for the price.not seen riser, is it to bring factory gear stick closer to driver ??
Similar to what I'm gearing towards. Already have the risers in place, short shifter on order. Was trying to get a raceseng extension + weighted shift knob, but unfortunately they don't manufacture any adapters for the GR, and it seems the GT86 ones are differentI ordered the TGR shift rizer, the Foresight short shifter and an height adjustable gear shift knob from Greedy. pretty straightforward. did it in front of my house with basic tools in about an hour. would be less than 30 minutes if i did it again. didn't need to take it to my workshop. How was the difficulty to install? Will buy me one too.
Can we use this FRSG quick shift with the CAE shifter ?there's a short shift attachment that fits on gearbox arm that does shorten the shift length but not same as fitting full on gear lever in cabin. you could but would make for very tiny shift movement and possibly quite heavy, I do know ppl with other marques of vehicle who do use their short shift mod with the CAE gear lever, really would need tryCan we use this FRSG quick shift with the CAE shifter ?
My Broyotas fitted the CAE shifter today.i have one for the yaris too now
definitely speeds up shifts and feels much nicer. now just to make a bag that fits around it.
I'm ordering a CAE next week, will see if I can 3D print something that will fitDoes anyone sell a trim bit to cover up exposed portion yet?
Glad you're happy. CAE are popular on track cars, not road cars.I find the GR gear change spot on. Any quicker and I'd beat the sychcromesh.
